🏎️ 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 — 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱?

F1 driver Oscar Piastri was furious during this weekend’s race. Very rare for him and even affected his driving. smoothness and almost went off the track. (Oscar is currently leading the world championship a few points ahead of his teammate.)

He’d been penalised by the stewards, and in the heat of the moment, demanded his team 𝘴𝘸𝘢𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴 to make it “fair”—even though his teammate had done nothing wrong. It was reactive. Emotional.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲… 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚.

But here’s the twist.

After the race, he saw it differently. He 𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘦𝘥 his reaction. He acknowledged the facts. Aperture 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥.

Same situation. New aperture. Different experience. Very different behaviour.
